The pizza chef got his certificate in bar operation at the Singapore Hotel Association Training Education Centre (Shatec) in 2006, Faizal noor moved on into the trade switching from a pizza chef to a waiter. 1yr into the job his interests in beverage made him swap roles to bar captain. After completing the International Bartenders Association – Elite Bartenders Course (formerly known as the John Whyte Course) organized by the Association of Bartenders & Sommeliers, Singapore (ABSS) in 2010, Faizal Noor who came in tops among the Singaporeans was sent to Italy to represent Singapore in 2011. Being the only Asian in the course Faizal got 2nd place for his cocktail presentation and an overall ranking of 5th position. Later on the same year Faizal noor was selected to represent Singapore for John Whyte Club Global Finals In Rome During the Around Bar Show Roma (ABR) 2011. Bargiornale , continuing to pursue further in the career with passion and knowledge faizal noor aims to fulfil Wine & Spirit Education Trust (Wset) qualification and share the knowledge of beverage with passion to the next generation of Barman around the world. In his free time faizal does volunteer work to assist in other bar programmes across the world. Norway, Thailand, Indonesia he also has done career talks for hotel schools.
